The Haze

My precious friend Kellie and her hubby got married about five years ago and they didn't have a photographer at their wedding...shock!! So, to give THEM a little something to hang on their wall, and to give ME a little wedding workout and something lovely to show you all, we decided to do a faux wedding shoot.

It was organised a couple of months ago and Kellie had definate ideas about how she wanted it to look...namely, she wanted 'the haze'.  You know that beautiful haze you get through trees and over grass just minutes before sunset?  That was what we wanted to capture, with a little vintage twist.  I have heard about this 'haze' EVERY time we have hung out for two months now! 'We've got to get the haze Anna!'

And so we went after it, and wow!...if I do say so myself.  We went to a special little spot aptly named 'Eden' at Rush Creek and it was a perfect, I mean PERFECT afternoon!  I hope you adore these photos as much as Kellie and I do....xo

Born in the USA

This past week some lovely friends from the US of A came for a visit and we thought we'd do a wedding anniversary shoot (australian style!) while they were here.  Steve & Bek are one of the most genuinely loved up couples I know...such a pleasure to witness!  Have a fantastic trip guys and happy anniversary!!

 The things people get up to when they think you're only taking photos of their hands! Has to be my favourite!!

Heaven on Earth

Introducing one of my own little darlings (with a cameo by the other)!

Also introducing one of my pretty new backdrops...I think I am in love with this one!

After taking about two hours to set this shoot up, I had about seven minutes to actually shoot before little L decided she'd had enough...just shows what you can get even when you're low on time.  I even managed to capture her latest trick, the 'piggy face'!

                       

Angel on Point

 What do you do when you get together with your best friends? Movies? Coffee? Beach?

Well, this is what one of my best friends, Kellie, and I do!  We know we're a bit strange (!?!) but we both love the camera, and the giggles and dress-ups that come with it!  

This shoot was a particular delight because we got to capture a glimpse of Kellie's ballet training - this girl does crazy things on her toes!
